After several turns in the forest, the deer and Zia reach the Spring Valley, where there is a cave with clumps of “Vat I” flowering. “Vat I” is a flower that has cross-shaped purple petals on a golden stem. The purple petals are the main ingredient for the shifter liquid.

Although there’s the help of shifter earring and liquid, one person can only achieve one “wizard” state and equips one power. Now Zia has two earrings, which means she can use two different powers. The other earring belongs to her sister. Throughout the past three weeks, Zia has tried everything to find Naomi but all of her efforts failed. Naomi is nowhere to be found in Town Zero but Zia will not give up. Three days ago, while searching for Naomi’s sign everywhere, she discovers Naomi’s exclusive earring in the boundary of uptown and downtown. She was lost there. So Zia came up with a new plan, which is her adventure to the Central Church tonight.

Zia drops her backpack onto the ground and takes out a bamboo basket. She climbs carefully onto the cave and picks a bunch of fresh “Vat I”. After gathering enough ingredients, she jumps down from the cave wall and then walks back home.

In the first floor of their cottage, there’s a working room for Naomi and Zia to make the potion. Zia walks into the room and hangs her basket on the wall. She grabs a bunch of “Vat I” and places them on the chopping board. The “Vat I” needs to be chopped to pieces before grinding, which is Zia’s favorite process. Grinding takes effort and patience. After taking out the stem from the “Vat I”, she pours all of the petals into a mortar and starts grinding them with her pestle, then she distills the purple juice with a silk screen and stores the juice inside a jar. After taking care of all of the juice, it’s time for the treatment of the golden stem. Zia pulls out all of the stems from the basket and puts them into the blender. The liquid from the blender is poured into the jar and mixed with the purple juice. In this way, the process of making a shifter potion is almost finished and the last step is to place it under sunshine for 3 hours.
